Apa kata Dato' Lee Chong Wei?

“I apologise to all the Malaysian people,” a distraught Chong Wei said. “I wanted very much to win the first ever gold medal for my people. I worked very hard but what is done is done."

“I am very disappointed with a silver medal again,” Chong Wei said. “I worked very hard but what’s done is done.”

Sayunya tengok Dato' LCW dengan wajah macam ni...

Apa kata Lin Dan?

"My mind is blank right now. I am very, very happy,” said Dan. “This medal is confirmation of all my hard work since 2008. It is very tough being a Chinese player because we work so hard and sacrifice so much."

“He’s such a brilliant rival that I am quite lucky,” said Lin, who invited Chong Wei to his wedding. “I treasure the opportunities of playing him.”

Apa kata Media?

After becoming the bridesmaid in Beijing four years’ ago, luck cruelly deserted Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei in London following a tumultuous men’s single final against Chinese rival Lin Dan on Sunday. Chong Wei’s Olympic dream is over. The question now is whether these two will ever meet in a major final again.

Lin Dan of China claimed his second successive Olympic gold with a 15-21 21-10 21-19 defeat of Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia in a classic final.

Apa kata orang ramai?

The 2012 Olympics was Chong Wei's last olympic game. He worked his hardest, train at his hardest. That is why he was so frustrated about.

The 2012 London Olympics men singles finals was an interesting match. Both Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan fought tooth and nail for the gold medal. It was a very close match and they chased each other points by points.  There goes our hope for our first Olympics gold. So sad! So close, yet so far!

Anyway, Datuk Lee Chong Wei played very well! All my respect to him!
